So, this is not the artwork for VINE IN THE FIRE, but I love it anyway. It totally captures the essence of the time period. It says so much, but since it's not related to the actual book, I wanted to get that out in the open first and foremost. As much as I love the artwork here, it's not associated with the book. However, kudos to the artist, because it's amazing work!
With that said, I wanted to let everyone know that VINE IN THE FIRE is actually complete. The manuscript has been written and edited and was sent to the editor last week for final revisions. So, what does that mean for you?
October 10th, 2017.
That's right, it will be out a couple of weeks before Halloween. If you live in Kentucky, you'll be able to purchase advance copies of the book at the Harlan Haunt Fest on October 7th. And, as usual when I release a book, there will be Kindle pre-orders available. We're also trying to work out the logistics on doing a pre-order for the store on this website, but nothing is concrete, so we can't confirm we'll be able to do it just yet. We'll let you know as soon as we can on this.
To go back to the artwork for a moment, artist Kevin Hawkins, who graciously did the cover for my last book, GLOOM: SIC SEMPER TYRANNIS is returning for this book. He's already working on the cover art and I can't wait to show everyone. Once it's completed, we'll definitely be sharing it, so stay tuned.
VINE IN THE FIRE will be a western with elements of horror, a book I've been working on for over two years. I'm so proud of this book and the finished manuscript and I can't wait for everyone to read it. I'm getting excited for the release and anticipate what you have to say when it comes out.
I just wanted to take a moment and update everyone on the status of VINE IN THE FIRE and drop the release date. I hope you're looking forward to reading it. I'm excited for you to finally get this one in your hands.
